This morning I was able to participate in a prayer vigil at an abortion clinic in Dallas, there was no ruckus, just people praying for God to intervene in the lives of the ladies considering that as an option for their unwanted unborn child.  No child is unwanted by our Father, my heart hurts at the thought of the consequences to the child and themselves as they act upon their desires.

While there I prayed and read scripture, I was blessed with some reflection to remember a portion of my prayer this morning.  I only share this as I thought afterward how I could/should go on and on about the Love God has shown me, and as it reflects my thoughts I want to share my beliefs and make plain my allegiance.

This mornings prayer, a portion from my memory.

Thank you Lord for my existence and place to reside.
Thank you Lord for your love that has given me hope through your Son.
Thank you Lord for the word you have given me to understand you will.
Thank you Lord for the grace and belief you have given me.
Thank you Lord for the wife and child you have given me.
Thank you Lord for the ability to petition you with my needs.

Lord give me the heart to feel your compassion for those around me.
Lord give me a mind of humility that recognizes You as the source of any of my successes.
Lord give me eyes to see the opportunities to serve you.
Lord give me ears to hear the cries for help from a lost world.
Lord give me the mouth to speak your message of Love and comfort.
Lord give me the hands to reach and hold those in need.

Lord give me the shoulders to bear any burden offered to your glory.
Lord give me the feet to go into the world and seek your sheep.
Lord give me the legs to run with endurance the race until you choose to call me home.
Lord give me an unending supply of love for you and others.
Lord change my appetites to align my desire to follow and glorify you.
Lord give me discernment to see your will for me in my life.

Lord I praise your wisdom and seek to glorify you in my life.
Lord give me the strength and wisdom to use these gifts in accordance with your will.
Lord all these things you have already given me, for that I thank you.
Lord I love you, and praise you, you alone I want to follow.
Lord continue to refine me, all honor and glory are due to You.
Lord grant me the faith to pursue You until You come.
